Happy Cinco de Mayo!!! – Time to do my annual meeting minutes

For those of you who have heard me speak or worked with me, you probably know that Thompson Law Group, P.C. (a corporation) has its annual shareholders and Board of Directors meetings on Cinco de Mayo. I set this date so I would remember to actually create my meeting minutes to maintain my corporate formality to keep my corporate veil intact. You may want to choose a date that you will remember (St. Patrick’s Day, Cinco de Mayo, Labor Day, Halloween, Veteran’s Day, etc.) to be your annual compliance day. Set the day aside (even better if it is a holiday already) and use it to handle the annual business stuff that falls by the wayside.
