Partnership and S-Corp tax returns are due March 16, 2026 – NEXT WEEK
If your business is taxed as an S-corporation (S-corp), or is a partnership, multi-member LLC, or is an actual corporation, the business has to file its own tax return. Required tax returns for corporations, partnerships, multi-member LLCs and LLCs taxed as an S-corp are due March 16, 2026, unless you file an extension. In order to avoid penalties for a late filed business return, the IRS must receive the extension for the tax return by March 16, 2026. Extensions extend the deadline to September 15, 2026. However, the extension does not eliminate the requirement to pay any taxes (including personal estimated taxes) due on March 16th. IRS Form 7004 to request an extension may be found at www.irs.gov. Again, the Application for Automatic Extension must be received by IRS by the deadline to avoid any penalties. Arizona honors federal tax returns extensions. There is no separate form to file for Arizona businesses to extend their deadline to file their Arizona annual business tax returns. Also, remember the IRS no longer accepts paper checks or money orders for payment of taxes and you must pay taxes electronically.
