Failure to have a qualified professional team for your business
If you have never spoken with a qualified business law attorney or a qualified tax professional, you may be sitting on a ticking time bomb. Many business owners think that things are fine because nothing bad is happening. Their business is formed, they filed their taxes and everything is cool. What they don’t know is what they don’t know. If taxes are done wrong, you won’t know about it until the audit hits which will be years after the tax returns have been filed. If the business is not structured appropriately or following the mandatory annual requirements, they will not know until a creditor comes after them (rightfully or wrongfully) or they do not receive notice of a lawsuit because their public records are inaccurate or their statutory agent fails to tell them. When these things happen (or others), it is too late to fix the problem. It is way better to prevent the problem before it even begins. I most certainly can learn to install an electrical outlet by watching YouTube videos and I can do so without the need to use a qualified electrician. My light may work for a while, but if my house burns down later, I really wish I would have consulted the qualified professional.
