Open Enrollment on the Health Insurance Marketplace begins TODAY

Given that the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (“OBBBA”) eliminated tax credits for health insurance previously in effect under the Affordable Care Act (“ACA”), it may be harder for your employees (and you) to obtain affordable health insurance. However, you can include Health Savings Accounts (HSAs”) as part of your employee benefits to offset this cut and provide additional access to health care for your employees. The OBBBA characterizes individual marketplace bronze and catastrophic health plans as high-deductible health plans that are eligible for a companion HSA.
