3 to 1 – Preliminary Injunctions prohibiting the enforcement of the CTA were NOT issued by three other federal District Courts

Federal District Courts in Michigan, Oregon and Virgina denied requests for a preliminary injunction of the enforcement of the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA). The Texas District Court is the only court to grant a preliminary injunction. At this time, the Texas ruling stands nationwide and FinCEN may not enforce the CTA until further notice. Business owners may still file their Beneficial Ownership Information Reports (BOIRs), but there is no requirement to do so.
