Why do you say “QUALIFIED” professional?
It is not enough to contact an attorney or contact a CPA. You need to find a professional with experience working with businesses (preferably in your industry). Tax advice for your business should not come from your cousin’s best friend’s, hairdresser’s spouse’s friend because you are getting a “deal”. The same is true for an attorney. If you have a single attorney that says he or she can handle, your divorce, friend’s DUI, draft your will, handle your car accident and advise on your small business, you have a “Jack (or Jill) of all trades and a master of nothing.” A qualified professional will be able to advise you quickly and competently because they are experienced in their field and work with businesses such as yours.
