Lisa C. Thompson is certified to practice law in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Washington, D.C. She graduated from the University of Arizona, College of Law with her Juris Doctor in 1995 and in 1997 with her LL.M. (Master of Laws) in international trade law. She was an adjunct professor for nine years with the International M.B.A. program at Universidad Internacional de las Americas in San Jose, Costa Rica and has also taught U.S. Constitutional law for the Universidad de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico. Lisa’s publications include: Arizona Legal Forms – Debtor-Creditor (Second Edition) and Arizona Legal Forms – Limited Liability Companies and Partnerships (Third Edition). She is also the author of the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) and Federal Bankruptcy Law chapters in the Business Law Deskbook series for California, Michigan, Minnesota and New Jersey and co-author of the Arizona Business Law Deskbook and the Nevada Business Law Deskbook. Lisa’s Arizona publications and federal chapters are updated annually. She has owned her own law firm since 1995 and focuses her practice on business law (set-up, maintenance, CTA compliance, dissolution, contract review etc.) and consumer bankruptcy reorganizations Lisa also speaks Spanish.

MJ Vuinovich is the principal and founding partner of Idora Law Studio. She serves business clients in multiple transactional matters and focuses a significant portion of her practice on trademark law. Prior to founding Idora Law Studio, MJ worked in both private and public practice, including as the Associate General Counsel at Northern Arizona University and representing Native Nation entities and clients, among other positions.
MJ holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Montana, an M.A. in International Relations from the University of Queensland, and a J.D. from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law. She also completed a post-graduate year as a Rotary Ambassadorial Fellow at La Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina. MJ speaks Spanish and enjoys providing services to Spanish speaking clients.
