What does LLC mean? The importance of using the proper terminology

LLCs are the most prevalent form of business entity currently, especially in Arizona. They require no annual reporting and once formed you must affirmatively file paperwork to terminate them. However, many LLC owners do not know what the acronym stands for. An “LLC” is a limited liability COMPANY not corporation. This is so basic and so many LLC owners get it wrong. If you use the wrong terminology, many may wonder what else you are getting wrong.
