This consultation will help you get a handle on your business because you will know the options available to make a plan for your business to move forward or end.

What’s Included:
- Attorney Consultation by phone/Zoom
- $175 deducted from additional services.*
Step 2: Set Up a Phone/Zoom Consultation
Once you have completed the questionnaire form online and the consultation fee is paid, we will check for conflicts and set up a phone/Zoom consultation with Lisa Thompson.
If all you need is the consultation and you do not need/decide not to proceed with additional legal services, you get great information about your business’ options and finances. This gives you the power to deal with them. Why do we charge consultation fees?
Step 3: Consultation for Businesses in Financial Distress
In this consultation (by phone of Zoom), we will strategize a plan for your business to either shut down (through a formal winding down process), become financially viable. This consultation will educate you on the options available to create a plan for moving forward, reorganizing or ending.
Step 4: Execute your plan.
Sometimes executing your plan involves waiting to see what happens. Sometimes it requires an attorney and sometimes you may only need to consult with counsel as things change. Whatever you need, we are here to help with your business.
Often times, business owners will need to consult with a personal bankruptcy attorney so they can be advised on what a personal bankruptcy would do to eliminate their personal responsibility for business debt. We will help you find a bankruptcy attorney that is right for you. Thompson Law Group only represents your business and its financial affairs, it does not file any bankruptcies for businesses or business owners.
We routinely work with bankruptcy counsel to ensure that businesses are shut down appropriately prior to the business owners filing a personal bankruptcy.
We do not accept credit card payments for any bankruptcy services or consultations and services for businesses in financial distress. Please contact our office to make payment arrangements.
