Texas District Court temporarily SUSPENDS deadlines for BOIR filings nationwide

On December 3, 2024, the enforcement of the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) was temporarily suspended. The CTA still remains law, but it will not be enforced until further order of the court. As a result, Reporting Companies are not required to meet the December 31, 2024 deadline to file their Beneficial Ownership Information Report (BOIR) at this time. This could change if the ruling is appealed and a stay imposed. At this time, an appeal has not been filed with the 5^th Circuit.
