Freedom to pursue our dreams and businesses
As we approach Independence Day, I have been watching “The American Experiment” a documentary on Netflix. I highly recommend it. I am blown away by the courage and strength of will of our Founding Fathers. They had such courage to pursue the idea of government by the people and for the people, which was a novel concept in 1776. If they had not doggedly pursued this concept, we might not be business owners today. The Declaration of Independence declared that we all have the unalienable rights to pursue Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. My pursuit of happiness is owning and operating my business, and I am grateful that I have the opportunity to do so.
